The Government Held a Meeting of the Investment Attraction Council
Under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar, another meeting of the Investment Attraction Council took place.
Issues related to granting investors the right to approve the procedure for purchasing goods in the field of hydrocarbon exploration were discussed. These rules allow for the expedited conduct of necessary geological exploration work and the industrial development of deposits.
The project of aerogeophysical works on the territory of the republic was also considered, which will allow for accelerated geophysical mapping of the country.
During the meeting, problematic issues of certain investment projects in the field of geological and geophysical research were discussed. Assignments were given to the responsible state authorities as a result.
At the regional level, the activity of the Akimat (administration) of the West Kazakhstan Region in attracting investments was reviewed. In 2023, 45 projects were put into operation in the West Kazakhstan Region, including medical centers, brick and asphalt concrete plants, hotels, as well as the production of flanges for coils and soft containers.
